Frequently asked questions

How do I randomize a list?
Paste your list with one item on each line, then select Randomize. Select it again whenever you want a new order.
Is the order really fair?
Yes. It uses a Fisher-Yates shuffle with your browser's cryptographic random number generator, so every possible order is equally likely.
Can I use it to pick a winner?
Yes. Choose Pick items, set how many winners you need, and select Randomize. No item is picked twice unless it appears twice in your list.
Is my list saved or uploaded?
No. It runs entirely in your browser, and nothing you enter or open is uploaded, stored or sent to a server.
