About Text Compare
Text Compare finds the differences between two versions of a text. Paste the original on one side and the changed version on the other, and each difference is highlighted line by line, with the exact words that changed marked inside each line.
Use it to review edits to a document, spot changes between two configuration files, or check what changed in a block of code without setting up a diff tool.

- Paste one version into the Original box and the other into the Changed box. The differences appear as you type, with removed text marked in one color and added text in another.
- Can I ignore capitalization or extra spaces?
- Yes. Turn on Ignore case or Ignore whitespace, and lines that differ only in those ways are treated as unchanged.
- Does this upload my text anywhere?
- No. It runs entirely in your browser, and nothing you enter or open is uploaded, stored or sent to a server.
